Annaleen Lord
Annaleen Lord is the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Area Manager for the Caribbean. A Caribbean native hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, she is well positioned with the various governments and stakeholders in the air transport value chain to promote the industry’s priorities in the region.
Based in Miami, FL Mrs. Lord oversees 29 Caribbean States with 4 member airlines domiciled in the region. She continually advocates with Government authorities on issues such as but not limited to harmonization, infrastructure and cost, urging the highly tourism-dependent states to utilize aviation as an engine of economic growth and social development. Mrs. Lord has acquired a wealth of industry experience having started her aviation career in 1996 with American Airlines where she held various positions as Ground Security Coordinator, District Sales Manager and Airport Manager. She joined the IATA team in 2006. Mrs. Lord holds a post-graduate diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing in Birmingham, UK
and certification from Florida International University in Human Resource Management. She’s a military spouse married to a Fire Chief in the United States Air Force and mother to two young adults determined to change the world.
