Annaleen Lord is the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Area Manager for the Caribbean. A Caribbean native hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, she is well positioned with the various governments and stakeholders in the air transport value chain to promote the industry’s priorities in the region. Based in Miami, FL Mrs. Lord oversees 29 Caribbean States with 4 member airlines domiciled in the region. She continually advocates with Government authorities on issues such as but not limited to harmonization, infrastructure and cost, urging the highly tourism-dependent states to utilize aviation as an engine of economic growth and social development.

Anya Ayoung-Chee is a fashion designer, social entrepreneur, and creative strategist. In 2008, she competed at the Miss Universe pageant in Vietnam for her native Trinidad and Tobago. The following year she launched her first collection, Pilar, named after her younger brother. Several years later, Anya inspired millions when she won Season 9 of Project Runway. She then launched her eponymous womenswear line geared toward the resort wear market.

He is an expert in the subject areas of HS Customs Classification, Customs Valuation and Rules of Origin.

Karen McDonald Gayle is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund – the CBF. The CBF is a regional umbrella environmental fund that uses a flexible structure to facilitate innovative solutions and consolidate regional conservation impacts. With over 25 years of experience in civil society participation, public sector policy development and project design, Karen is a regional expert in Conservation Trust Fund (CTF) management. She has served as the CEO of Jamaica’s largest environmental grant-making institution – the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) and has worked regionally with the United States Agency for International Development and the United Nations Environment Program. A Jamaican national, Karen has served on multiple national boards.

With more than two decades of tourism and leadership experience, Mrs. Charles-St. Jules has achieved significant success in the hospitality sector and most recently was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority. She served as the USA Account Manager for the Anguilla Tourist Board and has been CEO of global marketing agency PEAEYE7 Marketing International for five years, handling business development and luxury resort marketing throughout the Caribbean, the U.S., and Canada. Mrs. Charles-St. Jules has deep expertise in setting and executing business strategies across many facets of the tourism industry, including marketing destinations, developing sales programming for luxury resorts, and global travel trade management.
